The Mercury 40hp EFI engine provides enhanced SmartCraft capability – a comprehensive boat and propulsion monitoring system, supplying detailed engine status and performance data for virtually all engine functions such as trim, speed, rpm, troll control, fuel flow and for other boat functions such as fuel level and battery voltage.

Pound for pound, these outboards are big performers. They’re the lightest 3-cylinder outboards in their class and the 3-cylinder, single-overhead cam design delivers exceptional speed and acceleration to power you on your next adventure.

With a 747cc powerhead, the 40hp generates impressive torque to move heavy loads with ease and the maintenance-free valve train requires no regular service and no adjustments for the life of the engine.

Electronic fuel injection (EFI) provides surefire starts in any weather and importantly for small RIB operators, the powerhead has been balanced to make it smoother and soft-rubber mounts isolate vibration and direct it away.

The Mercury 40hp outboard engine is not typically a stock item and is normally available for delivery within 3 to 4 business days.

Price includes Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) and in house white glove delivery from Storm Marine.

The Mercury 5 Year warranty on this 40hp Mercury outboard motor begins on completion of the Customer Warranty Registration.
